The Healing and Opportunities with Psychotic Experiences (HOPE) program, located within Hennepin Healthcare, uses NAVIGATE, a team-based treatment focused on resiliency and recovery. We are an early intervention program treating first episodes of psychosis in an outpatient setting. Please reach out to complete a screening to see if the HOPE Program is the right fit for you.   We provide treatment for people who are:
  • Age 15-40
  • Beginning to experience unusual thoughts, psychosis for less than two years, medications for less than one year, hear voices or have recently had other strange experiences
  • Diagnoses of schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, or schizophreniform disorder, or to help with diagnostic clarification
  • Interested in learning skills to live a rich and rewarding life
We offer multiple services to help you meet your goals:
  1. Support to learn skills, cope with stress, and identify your strengths
  2. Education and care for you and your support team, such as family and friends
  3. Help staying in, or returning to work and school
  4. Assistance obtaining community resources, like insurance, food and housing
  5. Counseling on medications to reduce symptoms and prevent relapses
  6. Peer support
  7. Connection to other services such as nutrition and primary care
Once enrolled, services can take place in the clinic, virtually or in the community such as school, library or coffee shop.
