Client will need a Chemical Use/Rule 25 Assessment prior to treatment intake.
TARGET POPULATION- Adult men who are in need of long-term, less intensive treatment, support and skills refinement to enable the client to succeed in the community following primary treatment
ADMISSION CRITERIA- This program is held in a home-like setting.
Individuals must be capable of self-care and be medically, psychologically and behaviorally stable
SPECIAL FEATURES- Treatment sessions offered to help prevent relapse,
improve emotional functioning, promote personal responsibility, and reintegrate the client into the
world of employment, education family life – training provided in medication management and education, family, individual and group therapy. Mutual self-help meetings encouraged.
LENGTH OF STAY: Individualized – average stay is 3 to 6 months
INTENSITY: Medium Intensity – at least 15 hours of treatment a week
