NorthStar Regional’s Low-Intensity Residential Program expands our continuum of care by offering a structured residential option for men who are medically stable but continue to benefit from accountability, support, and a recovery-focused living environment prior to transitioning to outpatient care.

NorthStar Regional’s Men’s Low-Intensity Residential Program is located on the second floor of our Valley View Campus in Eden Prairie. In addition to providing housing, meals, and therapeutic programming, clients are encouraged to pursue employment, volunteer opportunities, and other community engagement as they build stability and independence in recovery.

Our program provides integrated treatment for substance use and mental health concerns through a coordinated, multidisciplinary team approach. Many individuals experience both substance use and mental health challenges — often referred to as co-occurring disorders or dual diagnosis. By addressing both areas together, we support more sustainable recovery and stronger long-term outcomes.
