Recovery Academy 1 is a 15-bed Intensive Residential Treatment Services facility located on historic Summit Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota. Operated by Horowitz Health, Recovery Academy 1 is designed specifically for young adults ages 18 to 36 experiencing serious mental illness. The program provides 24/7 medically monitored care in a structured, home-like setting and offers individualized, evidence-based treatment that promotes stability, personal growth, and reintegration into the community. Recovery Academy 1 features specialized programming tailored to the unique developmental, relational, and vocational needs of young adults. This includes trauma-informed therapy, skill-building for independent living, integrated psychiatric care, medication management, and group work focused on identity, motivation, and resilience. Recovery Academy 1 fosters a safe and empowering environment where clients are supported in building meaningful, sustainable lives.
