Missions Inc. Programs' Judy Retterath Withdrawal Management Center (formerly Mission Detox Center) provides medically monitored detoxification services to men, women and adolescents ages 13 and older who are intoxicated or in withdrawal due to consumption of alcohol or other drugs. The primary goal is to provide a safe environment to facilitate uncomplicated detoxification and withdrawal, and assessment and referral in a timely and cost effective manner. Services include: • Medically monitored detoxification • Rule 25 access • Onsite physician visits • Assessment • Counseling • Nutritional Services • Chemical health education services • AA/NA groups • Discharge planning • Referral • Onsite domestic violence advocacy available Each client is welcomed with respect and provided professional and compassionate care by the staff of nurses, counselors and trained technicians. Access to Withdrawal Management by Hennepin County residents is generally on a first come first serve basis. Retterath Center also admits clients from Anoka, Carver, Scott, Chisago, and other counties. Judy Retterath Center is able to work with clients who are sex offenders.
