About Leah
As an education & mental health advocate, Leah is passionate about supporting individuals with mental health, disabilities, and behavioral health needs. She believes in the power of understanding and connection, and with a background in education, nonprofit work, and advocacy, she strives to create inclusive spaces where people feel seen and heard. Leah holds a B.A. in Elementary Education with a Special Education Endorsement and a minor in Event Management from Iowa State University, and she is a Certified Peer Support Specialist and Youth Mental Health First Aid Responder.
Outside of work, Leah loves soaking up the sun, cuddling with her cats, baking sweet treats, and getting competitive over board games. She also volunteers as a speaker with NAMI Minnesota’s Ending the Silence program.
