Safeway Home Healthcare is an inclusive home, values-based, and holistic mental health organization offering Adult rehabilitative mental health services (ARMHS) to best meet your needs. We provide culturally focused and trauma-formed services for underserved and marginalized communities that historically and currently face barriers to mental health support. We aim to join you in understanding your unique needs and experiences and collaborating with you to strengthen your relationships and nurture hope and transformation. Adult rehabilitative mental health services (ARMHS) program is strengths-based, culturally competent, person-centered, and social stabilization-focused. Its purpose is to help individuals with mental illness overcome challenging impairments caused by their symptoms so that they can function independently in their homes and communities. Our goal is to support individuals in improving their functioning in areas such as daily living skills, social skill building, coping skills, and community intervention to help them achieve their recovery goals and live fulfilling lives. Our qualified ARMHS practitioners provide one-on-one support both in the home and in the community.
ARMHS workers will be supporting clients in the following areas:
- Accessing and connecting with resources
- Healthy lifestyle skills building
- Preventing relapse and sobriety management
- Cooking and nutritional skills
- Engaging in meaningful community activities
- Interpersonal communication
- Employment-related tasks
- Crisis assistance
- Medication education
