Amy Swart, MSW, LICSW, PMH-C, has been a therapist since 2011 and is passionate about supporting women and their emotional well-being. In addition to serving women of all ages, Amy specializes in perinatal mental health and care during the periods of pregnancy, postpartum, and new motherhood. She also has extensive experience in helping people overcome past traumatic incidents in a way that brings relief and promotes healing.
Amy provides individual therapy in-person in Alexandria, MN, and via telehealth throughout the state of Minnesota. She also offers groups for pregnant and postpartum women. Amy is an engaging therapist with a warm, compassionate approach who helps clients gain insight and learn practical coping strategies to address whatever may be causing them distress.
Amy received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bethel University and Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from the University of North Dakota. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and received her Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International.
