Adult Intensive Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Programs Our New Choices for Recovery program helps adult men and women take action to change their thinking and behaviors to both prevent relapse and to form a more positive relationship with themselves, others and their community. Our approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which teaches those recovering from addiction and mental illness to find connections between their thoughts, feelings, and actions and increase awareness of how these things impact recovery. Our groups also use a trauma-informed curriculum, motivational interviewing and 12-step supports. Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Programs Our adolescent treatment program is a utilizes a cognitive behavioral, trauma-informed, non-traditional approach. It is designed for adolescents age 13-18 with a diagnosis of a substance use disorder. The goal of this program is to keep adolescents in their home community. It includes group sessions, intensive case management, consultations, individual, and concerned persons/family sessions.   Since 1969, Canvas Health has provided hope, healing, and recovery to the people we serve.
