At Melrose Center, patients, families and our specialized team of professionals treat and heal eating disorders together. We care for patients of any age and gender who struggle with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorders and other feeding and eating disorders at our 5 Twin City locations. Melrose offers all levels of care, including individual and group outpatient programs (ranging from 30 minutes a week to 8 hours a day), to residential and intensive residential care for those who are medically unstable. Our treatment model is individualized, holistic and integrated to include psychotherapy, medical care, nutrition counseling and psychiatric services. Specialty programming is available for those with an eating disorder and either type 1 diabetes or substance use disorder. We know it takes courage to seek help for an eating disorder. The first step is to schedule an initial assessment by calling 952-993-6200. While eating disorders are serious, potentially life threatening illnesses, there is hope. Help is available and recovery is possible. Our St. Louis Park location offers initial assessments, individual outpatient sessions with your Melrose team including medical provider, therapist, dietitian and psychiatrist, as needed. Our intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and 39-bed residential care unit is also located here, as well as group therapy and support groups. Groups are also offered in person and virtually.
