The Healing and Opportunities with Psychotic Experiences (HOPE) program, located within Hennepin Healthcare, uses NAVIGATE, a team-based treatment focused on resiliency and recovery. We are an early intervention program treating first episodes of psychosis in an outpatient setting. Please reach out to complete a screening to see if the HOPE Program is the right fit for you.
We provide treatment for people who are:
- Age 15-40
- Beginning to experience unusual thoughts, psychosis for less than two years, medications for less than one year, hear voices or have recently had other strange experiences
- Diagnoses of schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, or schizophreniform disorder, or to help with diagnostic clarification
- Interested in learning skills to live a rich and rewarding life
- Support to learn skills, cope with stress, and identify your strengths
- Education and care for you and your support team, such as family and friends
- Help staying in, or returning to work and school
- Assistance obtaining community resources, like insurance, food and housing
- Counseling on medications to reduce symptoms and prevent relapses
- Peer support
- Connection to other services such as nutrition and primary care
