Advocates of the Bemidji Area provides advocacy services and mental health therapy to clients in the Bemidji Area and across Minnesota. We work with survivors of trauma and individuals who are experiencing anxiety and/or depression. If you are feeling stressed and would like to talk about it in a nonjudgmental and safe space, please contact us. We will work together to develop a plan to improve your mental health and then meet on a regular basis so that you can reach your goals. We utilize a variety of mental health interventions designed to treat trauma, anxiety, and depression, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). We can meet in person or use a telehealth format (online or on the phone) for counseling/ mental health therapy. Our offices are located in Bemidji. Appointments are often available within a week. The regular hourly rate is $165. We offer a sliding fee scale so that your payment is based on your income ($75 to $165). We accept PrimeWest and Medical Assistance.
