About Marissa

Marissa cares deeply about people, how they grow, heal, and find support during difficult times. Her passion for the nonprofit sector began in college while earning her B.A. in Economics and Political Science from St. Olaf College and deepened through her service as an AmeriCorps VISTA member.

To strengthen her work with FastTrackerMN, Marissa earned a Professional Certificate in Coding: Full Stack Development with MERN from MIT xPro and became a Certified Youth Mental Health First Aid Responder. She is passionate about FastTrackerMN’s mission because access to the right mental health care transformed her life, and that personal experience continues to fuel her commitment to helping others find support.

Outside of work, Marissa enjoys spending time with her husband, Leif, and their four pets. She loves being outdoors, whether gardening, hiking, or soaking up the sun, and she also coaches with St. Croix Swim Club in Stillwater, MN.
