Carlson Drake House provides Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) to adults with a primary diagnosis of mental illness. Program services offer an alternative to hospitalization. Similar to the other IRTS programs, the services here are recovery-oriented and evidence-based. The building has several lounges with cable TV and features a computer room as well as WiFi. The building is located in West Bloomington and is near a bus line. Most rooms at Carlson Drake house are shared. Services include:

• Illness management
• Integrated services for mental illness and substance use
• Family education
• Crisis assistance
• Development of health care directives and crisis prevention plans
• Nursing services
• Inter-agency case coordination
• Client transition and discharge planning
