A common barrier to those with children receiving services is lack of resources for families. We provide residential treatment designed to support recovery, strengthen parenting skills, and keep families together.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why Choose FTC?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Women and their children (up to three children, ages birth-11) live together during treatment<\/li>\n<li>Parenting education, which in turn helps to improve skills to ultimately break the cycle of generational trauma as it relates to substance use and mental health<\/li>\n<li>A focus on breaking the cycle of addiction and risk for future generations<\/li>\n<li>Staff designated to help women navigate CPS<\/li>\n<li>Current health insurance is not required to get started<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Program Highlights:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Average stay of 90-120 days<\/li>\n<li>Transportation to daycare and prenatal care included, and transportation to school provided by school district<\/li>\n<li>Support from certified birth educators for pregnancy needs<\/li>\n<li>Family counseling for children, regardless if they live on-site<\/li>\n<li>Holistic services for parenting and recovery<\/li>\n<li>Compliant with CPS Regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wayside\u2019s Family Treatment Center is one of only a few programs in Minnesota that allows women to undergo residential treatment while keeping their children with them.<\/p>\n<p>For intake, please call 651-242-5540.
